•2017 IEPA Package 1 November 2017-November 2018

Assistant Resident Engineer for $11.3-million IEPA funded package containing 4 sewer projects (PN6859, PN6907, PN6923, and PN6981). This package included the replacement of approximately 9000 FT of combined sewer. The project involved installation of 24 to 60-inch RCP sewer; construction and reconstruction of junction chambers; installation of 30 ft deep Earth Retention System; tumbling basins, manholes, catch basins, and drain connections; steel casing and installation of RCP sewer under the Metra North Line using Tunnel boring machine method; and MOT staging of residential and arterial streets with massive detours. Ancillary work included full and partial restoration of pavements, curbs, sidewalks, ADA ramps, and landscaped areas including medians. Extensive coordination between various Chicago agencies, utilities, Metra, schools, businesses, residents and Aldermen offices.

•Ancillary Sewer Improvements Program July 2014-November 2017

Field Engineer responsibilities included field inspection, daily head count reports, field measurements and quantity calculations, daily progress reports, IDR and quantity book updates, project final documentation and resolution of construction issues. The program goal is to install 440 miles of sewer over a 10-year period under a budget of $80-million/yr. This program worked in conjunction with DWM district forces.

•Water Main Replacement Projects and Special ADA Ramps June 2014-July 2014

Survey Crew Technician assisted survey crew chief with horizontal and vertical control survey, topographical survey and detailed surveys of intersection corners at proposed ADA ramp locations for this project. The project included topographic surveys and creating base drawings for the City of Chicago, Department of Water Management (DWM) Water Main Replacement Program to be used for the design of water main improvements in various locations throughout the City of Chicago. In addition, the project involved the survey and design of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) special ramps in accordance with the Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) standards and compliance with ADA on an as-needed basis at various locations throughout Chicago.
