• Converting project specifications and statements of problems and procedures to computer code. Use current computer coding technologies, including the following languages: HTML, XML, PHP, PERL, Java, JavaScript, Ajax, SQL, LDAP, and others.
• Providing documentation for these applications via logical flow charts, code documenting, written code documentation, and user help documents.
• Communicating with IT staff and campus constituents to develop or modify websites and applications.
• Working as a team member to maintain and administer current SQL database systems, Apache web servers and UNIX based operating systems, ensuring all systems are secure and properly backed-up.
• Working with system administrator to maintain current hardware that these systems run on.
• Investigating and evaluate new technologies.
